Once again as the General Election keeps moving closer, many Nigerian musicians are getting affiliated to some politicians and it doesn’t come as a surprise.
Nigerian top Fuji artiste, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly referred to as KWAM 1 or K1 De Ultimate has once again renewed his ties with the All Progressive Party (APC).
KWAM 1 has been politically affiliated to the APC since the days of former Lagos State Governor now APC Leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In what can be termed as a show of support, KWAM 1 has donated 15 vehicles to the APC Lagos State Governorship candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his campaign.
The Music star made a visit to Sanwo-Olu and his running mate Dr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamsat at their Awolowo Road Ikoyi office yesterday afternoon.
KWAM 1 in a speech with the two aspirants said,
The journey has started. we HAVe mapped out plans to achieve this. We have done this for the past three government and i am certain that what we started will turn out well. I have no doubt in my mind that victory is just by the corner. I am giving my words that my support will be total till we achieve the desired victory. I will Not only support with my music but every thing to make sure victory is ours.’
Apart from KWAM 1, YBNL boss, Olamide has also shown his support for Sanwo-Olu.
