The Boko Haram menace is still on as there was a twin bomb blast in Jos, the Plateau State capital on Sunday, 5th July 2015.
The incident occurred at about 9:30 pm when tafsir (Islamic preaching session) was ongoing.
According to eye witnesses, not less than 44 persons are feared dead with several others injured and properties destroyed.
The first explosion occurred at Bauchi road, just before the University of Jos main campus, while the second explosion occurred around Yantaya, Nasarawa Gwon area, both in Jos North Local Government Area of the state.
