Last night, Buhari’s government announced the lifting of the suspension placed on Twitter, a micro-blogging site.
This was conveyed by Kashifu Abdullahi, the NITDA DG. He said the minister Communications and Digital Economy, Prof Isa Ali Ibrahim, has written a memo to the president, seeking permission to lift the ban.
Although, several Nigerians were not dettered by the governments ban. The use of VPN was very much in play, keeping Nigerian youths on the platform.
Nigerians all over have resumed Twitter without VPNs and are reacting to the new development.
Whats intresting is that fact that, they have started dragging Adamu Garba CEO of Crowee and Bashir Ahmad, and aide to President Buhari.
