Wife of All Progressive Congress (APC) National leader, Senator Remi Tinubu, displayed what many would describe as “dramatic” as she snubbed a hand shake from the newly-elected senate president Senator Bukola Saraki on Wednesday.
Mrs Tinubu is said to have shunned Saraki’s attempt at friendliness as he inaugurated her and the other Senators who were absent during the official inauguration of the Senate on Tuesday.
According to Sources, instead of shaking the Senate President, the Senator left it hanging and muttered some words into his ear. But on the other hand, other Senators who were also being sworn in accepted handshakes from the Senate President.
Saraki was unanimously elected by 57 out of 108 Senators while 51 of them were at a peace meeting called by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Buhari had called the meeting due to the crisis which occurred in the party over its choice of National Assembly leaders.
