Lagos State has been under some tension as there was an explosion this Sunday afternoon at a beer palour along L&K road, at Oworonsoki area.
According to sources, 4 people were critically injured as they were rushed to Afolabi hospital for treatment.
NEMA, also released a statement by its spokesperson Ibrahim Farinloye, saying they were still trying to find the cause of the explosion as the shop was still locked but advised that people should eradicate the area to avoid further harm.
Farinloye said: “Fire service and police are trying to find out the cause of the explosion as the shop was locked at the time of explosion. We call on the crowd to leave the area entirely. The explosion partly affected a building next to the beer parlour.”
Officials are yet to comment on whether it was another bomb explosion or not, but some say it was a gas explosion. See tweets below;
