Nigerian Music executive Tunji Balogun, has replaced Paul Rosenberg as Def Jam CEO.
Mr Balogun was a former VP of A&R for RCA while Mr Rosenberg is a longtime manager of American rapper, Eminem.
The news was announced on Tuesday, 10th of August, 2021.
The announcement ends Mr Rosenburg’s 6 year run as chief executive officer.
ABOUT TUNJI BALOGUN
Before joining RCA in 2015, Mr Balogun spent over 7 years at Interscope. He signed Normani, Khalid, Bryson Tiller and a few others to the label.
In 2018, he birthed Keep Cool Records alongside Courtney Stewart, Jon Tanners and, Jared Sherman.
That same year, he was made Executive VP of A&R.
