Tiwa Savage has joined the lot of Nigerians to congratulate Tobi Amusan for winning the women’s 100m hurdles gold for Nigeria at the World Athletics Championship 2022.
Ms Amusan broke the world record by running a blistering 12:12 seconds to beat Kendra Harrison’s 12:20 mark.
Via video call, Tiwa called Ms Amusan to congratulate her.
“God bless you, thank you, thank you,” Tiwa said repeatedly. She went on to say she would support Ms Amusan in any way she can.
Tiwa joins Nigerians, politicians and other well wishers in congratulating the Nigerian athlete.
