P.Diddy & the ‘African gaint’ link up after COVID-19 lockdown

Self acclaimed ‘African giant’, Burna Boy, met with P.Diddy as the world opens up again.

Diddy, who was the executive producer of ‘Twice As Tall’ the album, shared a clip on Twitter where he spoke about meeting Burna Boy again after a long time.

He said at some point, both of them were locked up together in a room while working on the album.

However, due to the pandemic, they were unable to see each other as the world was in a lockdown.

The album went on to win Burna Boy his first ever Grammy Award as it emerged winner of the ‘Best Global Music Album’ category ahead of ‘Fu Chronicles’ by Antibalas, ‘Agora’ by Bebel Gilberto, ‘Love Letters’ by Anoushka Shankar, and, ‘Amadjar’ by Tinariwen.

The album featured musical acts like Chris Martin of Coldplay, Naughty by Nature, Stormzy, Youssou N’dour and Sauti Sol.

Recall that Burna shared how he wanted to spend his 30th birthday in Miami, Florida, alongside P.Diddy, Rick Ross, Pharrell and a couple other top American celebrities.

He invited who ever could make it Miami to come and celebrate with him.
