NBC has struck again! The Nigerian Broadcast Commission has put out another list of songs that are to be banned from radio airplay in Nigeria.
As usual the list was sent to radio stations across the country. Gbemi of TheBeat 99.9 posted a series of tweets stating the songs that were banned. Among those were Davido’s Gobe, Phyno’s Ghost Mode, Maleek Berry’s The Matter and also Caro from the StarBoy Team. Also included in the list is Olamide’s Voice Of The Streets and Afefe by Dr SID.
Nigerian songs weren’t the only songs affected as Birthday Song by 2Chainz, Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus and Pour It Up by Rihanna were also given the ax by NBC.

At some point NBC is going to have to implement some censoring system as opposed to just outright banning songs.
