Mixed reactions have trailed Burna Boy’s recent message to Organizers of Coachella for writing his name in small prints.
Though Burna Boy thanked them for recognizing him, he couldn’t help but register his displeasure over how little his name was scribbled in their bill.
According to him ‘I am an African giant and will not be reduced to whatever that tiny writing means.’
Burna Boy alongside his Nigerian counterpart, Mr Eazi have been drafted to perform at the Coachella 2019, a feat quite a number are proud of.
With the new stride came mixed reactions after Burna Boy’s new outrage.
While some are in support of his outright displeasure, saying his action will ultimately put some respect on Nigerian acts moving forward, others were just disgusted.
Some even likened Burna’s action to that of Wizkid, who refused to take his award backstage at the 2015 BET Awards in Los Angeles.
The disparate sets of opinions, views and debates have however put his fans and music lovers on different divides.
