The late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, is about to have his last days chronicled into a TV series. Film director JJ Abrams and Tavis Smiley are teaming to bring the series to TV. The series will be based on Smiley’s book, Before You Judge Me: The Triumph and Tragedy of Michael Jackson’s Last Days.

The book is set to be released today and details the last sixteen weeks before Michael Jackson’s death.
Michael Jackson died in 2009 at his home in the Holmby Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles from cocktail of propofol and benzodiazepine.. His doctor, Conrad Murray, Jackson’s was ultimately convicted of involuntary manslaughter for his role in Jackson’s death, and served two years in jail.
