If you look like any celebrity, now might be the time to start acting like them because apparently, it’s a business venture for someone else. Now let’s to the main story!
A man who around making performances of Drake‘s songs while pretending to be Drake has revealed how much he makes per performance. Fake Drake is banking big bucks for impersonating performances of the rapper’s songs and images.
Fake Drake whose actual name is Izzy, got his start after becoming a viral sensation due to his resemblance to the OVO boss. DJ Akademiks recently revealed just how lucrative the impersonation job has become for the doppelganger. In an Instagram clip, he showed Fake Drake getting into a performance of Drake’s “Laugh Now Cry Later” on a makeshift stage.
The shocker came from Akademiks’ caption, which stated the figure that Fake Drake allegedly makes. The video’s caption read, “Would y’all pay $5k for fake drake to perform at ur lil bro birthday party?”
While there is no confirmation that he earns that much for his Drake impersonations, anything close to that seems incredible for a lookalike.
Since last October, when he initially gained viral fame, Fake Drake has been in the spotlight. He’s even saying that Drake, the “Certified Lover Boy,” is mimicking his style, including the fact that Drake shaved a heart in his hair, despite the fact that fans know he did it to promote the release of his latest album.
Would you pay that guy that resembles Davido 10k for performance of Davido’s songs?
