Peruzzi has released an official statement expressing how “ashamed” he is for posting some tweets concerning ‘rape’ eight years ago.
“I was younger and didn’t fully grasp the implications of making such statements. They are neither a reflection of who I am then, or now,” the statement read in part.
He refuted allegations that he is a rapist. He said the allegations against him are false and has a witness to testify to that.
Peruzzi went on to sympathize with the family of the deceased, rape victims and survivors, adding that he does not take their trauma likely.
The DMW singer has been in the eye of the storm as two ladies have accused the Majesty crooner of violating them. He later denied the allegations and went on to delete tweets concerning rape that he had posted eight years ago.
