After the Instagram live session with Eedris Abdulkareem, talented music producer Samklef, has said the music veteran has paid a great sacrifice for the Nigerian music industry.
Eedris during the interview, shed more light on what transpired between himself, Charlie Boy, Festus Keyamo during the Star Mega Jam in 2004.
He explained the roles they all played during the saga.
However, Samklef in a recent tweet, said both Eedris Abdulkareem and Wizkid paid great prices for the industry.
“Idris Abdul Kareem paid a price for Nigerian artist in Nigeria why WiZkid paid a price for Nigeria artiste internationally.
“B4 Na back stage dem dey give Africans award thanks to WiZkid .
“And Na 50k to 200k dem be dey artiste for naija that year. Thanks to Idris,” he twitted.
The Nigerian music industry has shown so much potential. It has grown exponentially from what it was in the early 90s to the 20s.
Notwithstanding, the likes of Ruggedman, Eedris Abdulkareem, 2face Idibia and host of others have all played vital roles to raise the bar for upcoming acts. They have also laid the foundation for the new bees.
