While a lot of music lovers and critics assumed Davido barely had his fair share of struggles as an upcoming artist, the multiple award-winning singer has revealed affiliation with Don Jazzy’s defunct record label, Mo’ Hits.

Davido made this known while responding to a Twitter user, @Maziibe, who suggested that the singer was privileged not to have had a struggling stage in his career.

“Davido doesn’t have “when i ever blow” stage. Came in with a hit,” Maziibe said.

In response, Davido said “I did o. We all did. I was in Mohits house for a year.”

The 28-year-old singer, and producer, rarely referred to his pre-HKN and DMW era. He entered the Nigerian music industry with his collaborative single titled “Back When” featuring Naeto C, and rose to limelight after releasing his critically acclaimed single, Dami Duro.

The defunct imprint, Mo’ Hits, was jointly owned by D’banj and Don Jazzy. Registered in 2006, had in its list of signees; Wande Coal, Dr SID, D’Prince and K-Switch.
