Controversial Nigerian singer, Ahmedu Augustine, professionally known as BlackFace Naija has issued a notice of an impending Copy-Right violation to RuggedMan alongside his estranged former band members, Faze and TuBaba in the wake of their forthcoming concert.
The singer on Tuesday (August 20) went on his Instagram page to say the reason for serving them this notice was because of the lack of rehearsals and damaging the brand image built over the years.
The post was captioned thus: “Over the years this act of going to perform materials of #PlantashunBoiz at events without rehearsals and proper preparations has prompted me and my legal team to sound this as an advice. to @ruggedybaba @2baba_official1 & @fazealone not to continue damaging the image of the #band and concentrate on performing works solely made by them individually and none from the #band or written by myself…thank you. Mr Ahmedu Augustine.”
The unending feud between Blackface and members of his former band, especially 2Baba has gone on for years without resolve.
In March, Blackface churned out a diss song targetted at 2Baba titled “War”. He went further to state that he was preparing for a release of part 2 of the diss record.
