The remarkable song which was produced by ID.Cabasa and nominated in the Best Movie Soundtrack category at the 2014 edition of the Abuja Film Festival reflects Granville’s vocal dexterity and incredible song writing skills.
As Port-Harcourt City is already agog for his annual concert, Shabach slated for October 10th, 2015, Granville continues in his tradition of dazzling music lovers with classic tunes over and over again.
Charles Granville’s soundtracks are usually very memorable. Another typical example of this is his infectious delivery in top movie producer, Obi Emelonye’s movie series, The Calabash. This has made him the most sought after musician in Nollywood.
The talented singer ventured into Nollywood in 2013 when he made an appearance in the blockbuster movie, Last Flight to Abuja and that immediately gave him a huge recognition in the movie industry. Granville played the role of a company executive and acted alongside top actors such as Hakeem Kae-Kazeem, Omotola Ekehinde, Jim Iyke, Ali Nuhu, Jide Kosoko, Anthony Monjaro and many other movie stars. He also wrote the theme song, By My Side for the movie.
