FAB Expands Fashion Empire

Celebrated fashion mogul Familusi Akin Babajide who has previously brought us the most anticipated FAB Night Out, FAB Magazine, and FAB Radio this week unveiled his latest venture in the fashion industry.

Located at the brand new FAB Headquarters in GRA, Ikeja Lagos, the boutique which will be open from 8am to 7pm on Mondays to Saturdays and from 1pm to 7pm on Sundays is the brand new addition to an already buzzing and vibrant shopping scene on Mainland Lagos.

Aimed at providing a hub for African designers to reach the Lagosian fashion lovers, the FAB shop will also provide marketing support for emerging fashion design talent from Africa.

The growth of African fashion lies in the ability to create wealth for the creatives, and at FAB we realise that we may have done well in exposing raw talent from out of Africa to Africans and the rest of the world but now need to actively participate in helping to create a sustainable structure for the industry, an industry I have been in for 13years. Hence, The FAB Shop,” said Familusi Akin Babajide, aka Mr. FAB about The FAB Group’s latest fashion venture.

Some of the designers stocked at The FAB Shop are accessories designers O’eclat and Kenza Accessories, womenswear from London-based labels Honey Malaolu and Didi Creations, Nigerian womenswear labels Kiki Kamanu and Pearl 1130, menswear labels David Wej and Exclamations Couture casual wear brands Literati, Yetty D and 24 Apparel with many more labels joining the boutique shortly. To carefully exhibit such accessories, products like a mannequin head can be utilized.

The boutique will be launched and open to shoppers at a star-studded launch party which will see the grand unveiling of FABoSphere and other exciting new ventures into the world of lifestyle on the Sunday, the 29th of June from 2pm.
