Saturday October 17th, 2015 saw Nollywood actresses Mo Abudu, Dakore Akande, Nse Ikpe-Etim and Omono Obili premiere their new movie, FIFTY at the BFI London Film Festival.
The sold out Premiere took place at the Vue 7 Cinema, Leicester Square, London. From our reports on ground, the event was magnificent and featured performances from traditional Talking Drummers based in the UK.
Up next is the Lagos premiere which will be held on December 13th, 2015 at The Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
FIFTY captures the lives of four Nigeria women at the pinnacle of their careers. Meet Tola, Elizabeth, Maria and Kate, four friends forced, at midlife, to take inventory of their personal lives, while juggling careers and family against the sprawling backdrops of the upper middle-class neighbourhoods of Ikoyi and Victoria Island in Lagos. They live and work in the resurgent, ever-bustling, 24-hour megacity of Lagos, the commercial capital of Africa’s biggest and most vibrant economy.
