1. DJ Cuppy ft Teni – Litty Lit
Off her debut album; “Original Copy”, Cuppy teams up with Teni the Entertainer to serve us this fast-paced and rhythmic tune perfect for a litty lit weekend.
2. Falz – One Trouser
Falz comes through with the visuals for his new single titled “One Trouser“, produced by Bizzouch and directed by Dammy Twitch. In “One Trouser”, Falz embodies Jimi – a seemingly wealthy, but aggressive character, involved in a traffic accident with a Danfo driver. The song details the hilarious situation, the conversations and thoughts of the parties involved, as well as observers at the fictional scene.
3. Fireboy – Favorite Song
Off his 17-track sophomore album “Apollo”, Fireboy comes through with this upbeat song that takes us back to the eighties. Perfect song for disco night or indoor chilling!
4. BlaqBonez – Big Brother
Self Acclaimed ‘Best Rapper in Africa’ Blaqbonez shares his newest freestyle, “Big Brother” inspired by the famous Reality TV Show “Big Brother Naija”. In the song, Blaq speaks to those who belittle him saying he his their Big Brother. He also talks about how his freedom cannot be taken away because he is always on the move hustling.
5. Cynthia Morgan – Hustle
After a long hiatus from the Nigerian music scene, Nigerian female dancehall sensation, Cynthia Morgan now Madrina has returned with an interesting jam titled “Hustle”. In the sing Cynthian recounts her struggles thus far whilst expressing gratitude to God for how far she has come. Hustle was produced by Chopstix.
6. Adekunle Gold ft Patoranking – Pretty Girl
Adekunle Gold’s fourth studio album, AfropPop Vol. 1 is finally here and it’s pure vibes all the way. Off the album, Adekunle comes through with Pretty Girl. The single pairs pop vocal melodies with afro-dance hall bars delivered by no other than the king of dancehall, Patoranking.
7. Reminisce – Gbedu
The number one Oja Daddy, takes a leaf from Afrobeat King, Fela in the stunning visuals for “Gbedu” the t track off his EP “Insha Allah and Vibes”. Gbedu”was produced by Krizbeatz, and the video directed by TG Omori.
8. K1 De Ultimate ft Teni – Omo Naija
Fuji King, Wasiu Ayinde best known as K1 De Ultimate returns to the music scene with a 6-track EP titled “Fuji The Sound”. K1 teams up with Teni to serve a remix of his famous anthem Omo Naija. The song which was a popular party tune back in the day surely brings back exciting memories.
9. DJ Lambo ft Iyana and Lady Donli – Bella
Off her EP “A Tale of Two Cities”, Chocolate City’s official Disc Jockey, DJ Lambo teams up with Iyanya and Lady Donli on this track titled “Bella”.
