The extra dramatic reality series Big Brother Africa came down to the wire once again in the finale, but Nigeria’s Uti Nwachukwu ended up taking the Big Crown. It marks the second year in a row, a Nigerian has won BBA.
After 91 days in the BBA house, Uti Nwachukwu was pronounced the winner. The dying minutes came down to Uti and Munya from Zimbabwe. In order Sheila was ousted first from the final 5, followed by Mwisho and then Lerato before the final 2 Uti & Munya.
The finale featured performances from MI, Jesse Jagz and 2Face as well as Wyre from Kenya musician Maye Hunta.
Uti jumped up, broke into dance and songs and sang the Nigerian national anthem proudly right after he was proclaimed the winner. It was an emotional moment as Uti lost his dad during his stay at the house.
Uti walks away with $200,000. Uti plans on continuing his music career and we’re sure the cash prize will go a long way in helping do that.
Congratulations to Uti Nwachukwu and all other house mates.
