Durella-and-Dbanj

Now its cleared, Durella hasn’t moved to DB Records contrary to earlier reports, but the King of Zanga said he’s planning to move soon.

Below is what he said:

“I am still signed to Iconic Music but there’s a quest to move to DB Records. I want to pitch my tent in the international scene, that’s why we gave DB Records some consideration. I think it’s a platform for international advancement. I want Sony Records to take over the management of my music career. I also want international distribution for my works. D’banj is my friend, I am presently living in his house. We have not signed an official contract, but very soon, it will come to pass”

Nmmmmh! fingers crossed.

Well Olamide has come out to say that he is not signed to DB records. After much speculation and what we’ve seen as close relations, Olamide announced via twitter that he is not signed to Dbanj’s DB records.

We do know that something was up, and a deal was in the works but I guess you can say it didn’t favor all parties.

Whether or not this new BFF friendship between Olamide & Dbanj will continue is left to be seen, but for now we’ll take Olamide’s word for it. They’re fam!

It’s almost official but not quite! Kay-Switch, Dbanj’s brother tweeted to his followers today indicating that Olamide has officially signed to Dbanj’s DB Records. In his words “Welcome to the family, baddo!”

The rumors had been floating around for the past week, and they had been spotted various times together, including a trip to Atlanta, US.

With Olamide in the squad, Dbanj will have a super talented artist on the team, and one he can leverage.

This hanging out is definitely going somewhere serious. Dbanj & Olamide have been spotted one too many times together further fueling rumors that Olamide will be joining Dbanj on DB records and doing a lot more collabos together.

Dbanj is a regular in ATL, and Olamide is right there kicking it with him as he shared some of those moments on instagram.

Also in the mix is Dbanj’s hype man, Special Ed who frequents the US, and was recently mistaken to be a Rick Ross look-a-like in Miami.
