President Muhammadu Buhari’s highly confidential ministerial nominee list was given to Senate President, Bukola Saraki right before 5pm yesterday, and now all that’s left is for the Senate to endorse it.
The special adviser to the Senate President, Yusuph Olaniyonu said the names would be made available to the Senators on Tuesday, and subsequently the media shortly after. So it was assumed that we’d have to wait till tuesday.
However, Nigerian media outlet, The Will, was able to obtain some of the names featured on the list (13 to be exact), and published them. It features former governor of Lagos state, Babatunde Fashola, former River State governor, Rotimi Amaechi, and also former senator, Chris Ngige. See below:
