Today public speaker/activist Japheth Omojuwa, alongside Uche Briggs and two others were arrested this afternoon for leading a protest for victims of the Nigerian Immigration Service employment test that took place on March 10th. They were taken to NSCDC office before they were moved to SSS headquarters. The events were being updated on twitter by those present at the protest and colleagues of the arrested.
They were released around 8pm tonight, with their phones handed back to them. The police asked them to report back tomorrow morning.
