While addressing APC members and supporters in Lagos, who engaged in yesterday 9.2km walk, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, the Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate said the party would use the remaining days before elections to fast and pray for victory.
Akinwunmi Ambode addressed the APC members and supporters at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, where they ended the “March For Change” walk. He said that APC had proven a point with the walk.
“We will commit the remaining days before the elections to fasting and prayers and ensure that APC gets 100 percent votes,”
“March For Change” was flagged off by the National Leader of the party, Bola Tinubu, at Maryland at 8.00 AM. The walk ended at 1:05 PM at the stadium.
In his address, Bola Tinubu, appealed to Nigerians to vote for the party’s candidates in the forthcoming general elections and that the party’s presidential candidate, retired Muhammadu Buhari, was passionate about transforming the country.
“I thank you all for the walk today. Now, we have marched for that change we are clamouring for; marching for common sense revolution.Take this walk as a march for freedom, and it will not be in vain,”
