Xenophobia: MI Abaga Apologizes For His Recent Tweet

Nigerian rapper, Jude Abaga, professionally known as MI Abaga has apologized to those he ‘offended’ following yesterday’s tweet that caused widespread outrage.

The award-winning rapper was seen on Twitter diplomatically supporting South African Rapper AKA, saying other artists calling him out were misinterpreting AKA.

MI was condemned by Nigerians including backlashes from his industry colleagues like BurnaBoy and fellow rapper, Vector.

The rapper has, however, come out to apologize, adding that a lasting solution became pertinent.

” To everyone I offended yesterday I apologise.. It is always the right time for healing,” he said.

“I hope we can begin to listen to each other and discuss real lasting solutions,” he added.
