Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti insists that he would do all in his power to defend the legacy of his late father Fela Kuti. The ‘Black Times’ crooner said there are people who are just out to bastardize the legacy of the late Afrobeat legend.
Seun said everyone want to take the eccentric side to Fela which has to do with smoking weed, chasing women and then suddenly feel the are like him.
The singer who got nominated for a Grammy Award in the World Music Album category when asked if his father would support the present day government, Seun said his father would have been president.
He said none of the present day political leaders shared the ideo of Fela as a Pan-Africanist socialist.
