Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy has come out to vehemently register his disgust for grown-ups hating on his label’s artiste, Rema.

Don Jazzy said he found it appalling to see how men in their 30’s are hating on the young upcoming rapper/singer.

In his words, he said “when I see 30 something years old men with full bear bear hating on Rema wey still be embryo. Ore it’s not for us. Allow the boy influence his age mates in peace.”

In March, Mavin Records announced it had signed the 19-year-old artist to its imprint.

Rema quickly dished out a self-titled 4-track EP and has been dominating the charts ever since. His groundbreaking banger, Dumebi is currently rocking the airwaves and has paved ways for the artiste to thrive in a very competitive space.

Following the release of his EP, he has been very active on social media, dishing out short freestyle videos to show his trap side. That, however, propelled his label to unlock a “Freestyle EP” for fans of trap music.

Currently, 5 of his songs dominate Apple Music Top 10 while his albums make first and second spot respectively.

While the artist has been actively working to carve a niche for himself, quite a number of people have openly criticized him and his style of music.

That, however, has not stopped Rema from doing what he knows how to do best and Don Jazzy’s tweet serves as an affirmation that his boy is here to stay and they have a target audience.
