Damini Ogulu better known as Burna Boy is getting all the attention he deserves at the moment. This time his eccentric style of music got the attention of British GQ magazine.
In a new article on British GQ magazine Burna Boy got a spotlight for his music along other musicians like Pendulum and Donae’o. The piece reflected on Burna Boy’s music which he prefers to call an “‘afrofusion”, how it all started and how the “Heaven’s Gate” crooner is steadily selling his music to the British market.
Earlier in the year, Burna Boy dropped an album “Outside” to many positive reviews. “Outside” featured British music stars like Lily Allen, J Hus, and Mabel.
Burna Boy spoke about how he created the “Outside” album.
Outside displays his signature technique of amalgamating genres and combining sounds, a skill he has mastered over years of production. “It came organically. I never went in the studio with a plan. I knew the spirits would take over and it would be pure vibes,” says Ogulu.
