Kiss Daniel’s follow up single from Woju, Laye, turned out to a hit of its own, and one of the biggest songs of 2015. No surprise it racked up an impressive 2.76 millions views. Shot in East Africa and directed by Aje Films.
Yemi Alade – Taking Over Me ft. Phyno
Views: 2.78 million
Yemi Alade’s Taking Over Me which featured Phyno is off her debut album, King of Queens and is a very colorful and energetic display. But we’re used to that from Yemi Alade. It was directed by Justin Campos and Taiye Aliyu.
Davido – Fans Mi ft. Meek Mill
Views: 4.37 million
Davido’s massive international collaboration with American rap star Meek Mill became an instant hit both home and abroad. The video has a nice concept in general, and features loads of women and cash. Yea… most guys wont complain.
Davido – Sound ft. Uhuru & DJ Buckz
Views: 4.61 million
Davido, Uhuru, and DJ Buckz brought out the best of what Nigeria and South Africa can do together. The video was shot in Dubai, and directed by Sesan. The video featured Davido doing some great stunts.
Korede Bello – Godwin ft. Don Jazzy
Views: 5.1 million
Godwin by Korede Bello and Don Jazzy is easily one of the top 5 songs of 2015, and the video did the song justice. Starting with a comic skit from Bovi, the Godwin video is everything the song is about. Happiness, and thanking God for blessings. Very colorful too.
Olamide – Bobo
Views: 5.57 million
Your video will surely rack up a lot of views when you not only have the song of the year, but the dance of the year too. Shot and directed by Moe Musa in Victoria Island, Lagos, the video introduces Nigeria to the shakikit bobo dance, and it was game over from then on.
WizKid – Ojuelegba
Views: 5.74 million
You can argue that this is the song that made WizKid an international household name, and then Drake jumped on a remix. The video (shot for the original) falls in line with the theme of the song; detailing his come up from Ojuelegba, Lagos.

You can say that the Woju Remix was not really needed, but the numbers on this video say different. Directed by Adasa Cookey, the video features the all star cast of Davido and Tiwa Savage.

Not necessarily the biggest song of the year, but it’s one of the biggest videos of the year. Why? It features 2 of Nigeria’s biggest stars french kissing in the video. Yep, Chidinma and Flavour locked lips in this Godfather directed video for Flavour’s single, Ololufe.
P-Square – Collabo ft. Don Jazzy
Views: 17.93 Milllion
P-Square is the biggest group in Africa, and when they teamed up with the biggest producer in Nigeria, Don Jazzy, you knew it was going to be dope. The song was released in 2014, but the video made its debut in 2015. Yes the song is nice, but the video was the song even better. Plus the comedy helped too.
