Top Nigerian Albums & EPs To Look Out For In 2020

1

The first month of the new year 2020 is almost finished and the music business is yet to get into full gear. While we await more music from our beloved artistes, there are some albums we’re hoping to have this year.

As it is, anticipation for certain albums from certain Nigerian artistes is on the high. Nigerians can’t wait to hear what Wizkid’s ‘Made In Lagos’ would sound like or perhaps if Tekno would deliver on his debut album. These forms the expectations of Nigerians as we look forward to what this year brings as per music and entertainment.

Jaguda has picked out some albums and EPs we ought to be looking out for. Some artistes have already declared they would drop projects this year and we should remind you again.

1Rudeboy

PSquare officially parted ways in 2017 after the constituent members Peter and Paul Okoye could not resolve their internal differences. The singers who were legendary as a duo went on to start their solo careers, albeit as up-and-coming artistes with a sharp decline in their stocks. Rudeboy seems to be ahead of his brother Mr P after he dropped one of the biggest records in 2019 ‘Reason With Me‘ and another solid follow up single ‘Audio Money‘. Ending last year on a personal high, Rudeboy announced he would be dropping his first solo album in 2020. This notice from Paul Okoye sparks interest from fans and industry gatekeepers who want to see what he’s got afterall. He hasn’t given specific details as per a release date for his solo album but we are definitely getting one in 2020.
