Nigeria Music Stars with International Recording/Management Distribution Deals

What a time it is to be proud about being a Nigerian music artiste. It is evident that our music industry is flourishing in leaps and bounds. Nigerian music has gradually gained a lot of global acceptance poco a poco. Talk about international collaborations and awards, (although nobody has brought home a Grammy award yet, to my astonishment) sold out concerts outside the shores of Africa and many more.  A lot of fortune has been bequeathed to some of our stellar artistes in terms of international affiliation and promo.

Let’s bring to your awareness some Nigerian artiste that have penned down international recording/management or distribution deal.

The self-acclaimed Kokomaster D’banj is probably the first contemporary Nigerian music act to put pen on paper to sign an international music distribution deal. The Oliver Twist hit maker landed the deal back in year 2012. Don’t forget he was also signed to Def Jam Records and Kanye West G.O.O.D Music.
