Alleged Interim Government, Re Joining PDP Discussed As President Jonathan Visits Atiku Abubakar at Home

Nigeria President Goodluck Jonathan reportedly paid an unannounced visit to APC Chieftain and former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar at his home in Yola, Adamawa state on Friday March 13th.

Issues discussed was an alleged plan to make him, Atiku, head an interim government if Muhammadu Buhari peradventure wins the Presidential election, a situation President Jonathan and some of his inner caucus members allegedly said they would never allow to happen.

Media personality, Funmi Iyanda reached out to Atiku this morning, he confirmed the President visited him but denied they discussed him heading an interim government.

In another report, Sahara Reporters also alleged that another issue discussed was for Atiku Abubakar to rejoin the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
