INEC List Names of 14 Presidential Candidates for 2015 Elections! Also Reveals Number Of Registered Voters


For the 2015 Presidential elections there are officially 14 candidates running for the office of the president of Nigeria, but I bet most of us didn’t even know that. And interestingly enough there is one woman running for president, and four for vice president.

In addition to the list of names, INEC also revealed that there are 68,833,476 registered voters for the general elections in Feb. 2015

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) released the names of all 14 presidential candidates for the 2015 general elections. With the exception of General Buhari for APC, and Goodluck Jonathan for PDP here are the other presidential candidates and their running mate.

  • Sen. Tunde Anifowose-Kelani – Accord Alliance (AA) and Ishaka Paul as his running mate
  • Rufus Salawu – AD and Akuchie Clif as his vice president.
  • Alhaji Ganiyu Galadima – ACPN and Ojengbede Farida as vice president
  • Mani Ahmad – ADC and Obianuju Murphy-Uzohue as vice president.
  • Ayeni Adebayo – APA and Anthony Ologbosere
  • Sam Eke – CPC and Hassana Hassan as vice president.
  • High Ambrose Owuru – Hope Party and Alhaji Haruna Shaba as vice president
  • Comfort Sonaiya – KOWA Party and Alhaji Seidu Bobboi vice president.
  • Martin Onovo – NCP and Ibrahim Mohammed as vice president
  • Allagoa Chinedu – PPN and with Arabamhen Mary
  • Godson Okoye – UDP and Haruna Adamu as vice president.
  • Chekwas Okorie – UPP and Bello Umar as his vice president.
