According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the latest Ebola outbreak has reached a death toll of a staggering 3,439 making it the worst Ebola outbreak ever.
The country recorded with the highest number of death is liberia with 2069 death recorded as of September 30th, 2014. Guinea and Sierra Leone follow with 739, and 623 death respectively. In Nigeria there are has been 8 confirmed death, and a total of 20 cases.
The United States and Segenal have both record 1 cases each, and total of 7,492 cases have been reported world wide.
Nigeria has received a lot of praise recently for the handling of the ebola outbreak, and containing the spread before it got out of hand. The US has reached out to Nigerian officials to learn more about containing the disease and its spread.
