First case of Ebola Virus diagnosed in the United States has been confirmed. A traveler from Liberia to the United States has been officially diagnosed with Ebola, the United States Center For Disease Control and Prevention said today.
He’s said to have left Liberia on the 19th of the month and arrived a day later, with no symptoms. Some days later the patient began to show signs of the virus, prompting hospitalization and quarantine Sunday at a Texas, US, hospital.
Symptoms of the virus became apparent on 24 September, and on 28 September he was admitted to a Texas hospital and put in isolation.
