NBC Bans Lil Kesh’s Shoki; The Reason Why?

The good folks at NBC have woken up months after this song has been released to come out and ban the smash hit Shoki by Olamide’s protege Lil Kesh. The song has captured the whole nation, and is even more popular because of its dance.

The announcement about the ban was made by Toolz (a radio personality) on twitter. Apparently the Shoki means quickie in Yoruba. Interesting…

The reaction from Lil Kesh and Olamide pretty much sums up most people of social on hearing the news. Including us here on Jaguda. Too little too late we say.

We sure hope there’s no banning on the internet sha 🙂
