The last few months have been one of change and elevation for EFA. From making an appearance on Phyno’s No Guts No Glory album; to moving labels and management from Jus’ Kiddin’ to Now Muzik; and becoming a key member of Naeto C’s WKG (White Kaftan Gang); the rise has never seemed more certain.
His brand new offering, which is in fact not so brand new, Sunmobi remix takes on the lighthearted approach that EFA has come to be familiar with. He works with man of the moment, Olamide, in delivering new life to the original song. Altogether, the music is a head-bobber that the entertainer is confident that his rapidly growing fan-base will truly enjoy.
“We decided to rework the original song which, despite being a great song by itself, was not able to get the traction we think the song deserves. The reason behind the choice of Olamide is obvious, I suppose. He is a genius, and I do not say that just because he is my good friend. I wanted to help him tap into my fanbase”, he jokes.
For the first time however, EFA offers the music only via streaming and for sale (on Spinlet and iTunes). He says, “I believe my people recognize and will readily pay for music they enjoy. This is me offering them the best chance to do so.”
Sunmobi remix was produced by the uber-talented Mr. Smith.
