As we mentioned yesterday, some Chibok women and their supporters staged a protest in Abuja to demand the rescue of over 200 girls that were kidnapped in Chibok, Borno State over 2 weeks ago.

Mothers and other aggrieved indigenes of Chibok, Borno, yesterday staged a protest at the National Assembly calling on the government to speed up the release of their daughters that were kidnapped from the Government Girls Secondary school on April 14th.

The social media space has also gone viral with the trend #bringbackourgirls where Nigerians both home and abroad have been expressing their displeasure with the failure of the government to act quickly to rescue the girls.
