For the First Time, A Different Genre of Music in Nigeria Made History. Claps…….

Over the Years I have listened to different albums, only few artistes try to be DIFFERENT and stay different. Nigerian Music today is embodied with the same type of music, recycled beats and everyone is sounding the same. But when you see artistes that work hard and try to be different, you appreciate their creativity.

New comer, Ajebutter made his mark when he first dropped “Omo Pastor”, and I personally was skeptical about his genre of music. I had questions about him, watched him grow. His features, especially have been mind blowing freestyles. You don’t have to make Tungba Music to be appreciated, you don’t have to sound Like wizkid or Davido to be successful. When you sound different, and you don’t have that regular- Nigerian Music, people will pay attention to you.

I was going to do a track-by track review on this album, but i’m short of words. It’s no news that Butter and studio Magic’s chemistry making music is great, after his break out song “Omo Pastor” and few tracks you just know these guys are meant to be. From Track 1 to 15, i never skipped one track. Humble Guy Got me listening, I mean I got the message but i replayed it so many times. Butter made you listen to him.

Just dey Make Tracks that all sounds the same that drives me insane, i swear it’s getting Boring“, these are Butter’s words in the intro of the album. The Track Alone made me listen to every track on the album.

Let’s not forget Studio Magic, who has produced amazing songs, but his relationship with Butter making music is very immense.

Anytime Soon, A break from the Norm. AjeButter & Studio Magic are sitting down somewhere drinking to their achievement, proud of their creativity, for the first time a Nigerian Album broke barriers. Number 1 on Itunes, it has never happened (Or has it? ). I hope this album will make some upcoming acts re-think the type of music they make, everyone can’t sound the same.

I hope their achievement will make up and coming acts improve their crafts, i mean a debut album made history already. Your Best artiste has never done what they did on Monday ,in less than 24hours it made Nigerian history! The album is the #1 album on iTunes Nigeria knocking off Beyonce, Jay Z and Drake! #1 album on iTunes world music chart in the UK, #2 on iTunes world music chart Canada and #5 in the United States!

So if you haven’t copped the album, it’s everywhere. Congratulations to Studio Magic who brought the Magic, and Ajebutter 22 who delivered on this Project.
