Forbes (as always) profiled the brightest entrepreneurs under the age of 30 in the United States, and Nigerian Media entrepreneur and co-founder of The American Reader, Uzoamaka Maduka is featured on that list. She is just 26 years old.
The list features young people in different fields from finance to media, music, Hollywood to tech and art, and even to food.
Excerpt from Forbes:
Maduka is a mix of modern and throwback: A child of Nigerian immigrants and Princeton graduate, she decided to start a literary magazine, in print, at a time when most of her classmates were dreaming of launching hit apps. There’s a daily website, too, and a partnership with Salon.com helps with digital distribution.
Congratulations to her. Definitely good to see our people do positive things.
