Saudi Bound Kabo Air Flight Carrying 400 Makes Emergency Landing In Sokoto After Tires Explode Mid Air

There will be no fewer than 400 pilgrims thanking their God this afternoon as a plane carrying them to Saudi Arabia made an emergency landing in Sokoto after the tires of the aircraft exploded in the air.

According to BBC Hausa Service the Kabo Air flight was taking the pilgrims from Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano to Saudi Arabia when its tires exploded forcing it to abort its take off. Thankfully all 400 passengers were swiftly evacuated and no injuries of deaths have been reported.

This incident comes barely 48 hours after an Associated Airlines plane crashed while taking off at the domestic wing of the Murtala Mohammed Aiport, Lagos killing 13 of the 20 passengers and crew on board.
