Photo: Tallest Hotel In West Africa Finally Unveiled By Governor Babatunde Fashola In Lagos



Intercontinental hotel Lagos located at Kofo Abayomi Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, is a 23-storey building with 358 rooms, 37 suites and a presidential suite unveiled in Lagos State last weekend by Lagos state Governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola.

The N30 billion tallest hotel in West Africa, Intercontinental Lagos, is a subsidiary of the Intercontinental Hotel Group, IHG, is owned by the Milan Group.

  1. Sometimes i just don’t get some people. The repot says it own by a Milan Group, which means it’s a foreign investment. So what are we saying, the main reason for the Govnor to agree to unvielling or commissioning such project would be to promote more foreign investment. Isn’t dat what every state and country who is economically inclined should strive for.
    For what is worth it could end up being a tourist destination, and a sure source of revenue for the gov tru tax collection.
    Fine there are many things the gov might be doing that is not resourceful, but we should alwayz take time to stop and think before jumping into conclusion.
