The newly wedded top Nollywood actress, Stephanie Okereke, has always been on my radar! Alongside the likes of Genevieve, Rita, Ini, Funke and Mercy, I’ve always admired her body of work. She was and still is a force to be reckoned with in the entertainment industry and a brand worth endorsing. Now it wasn’t till photos (and that BEAUTIFUL video) from her wedding were plastered all over the net that I came to appreciate her sense of style and fashion.
Here she is (photographed at the top left corner) with husband, Linus Idahosa. Her gown is a Pronovias Euterpe From Elie by Elie Saab Collection. This gown fits Stephanie’s statuesque figure in the best way. Her choice of an “A-Line” gown was perfect. As I am a lover of the mermaid style gown …I will admit that it has been over done so her taking a step away from that paid off. She looked like a modern day princess especially with the interesting detail on the bodice. It didn’t hurt that the wedding was in France.
The best thing you can ever wear, ladies and gents, is a smile. It makes you approachable to people and this is one thing that Stephanie wears well. I don’t know her personally but from the simple smile she flashes, I would want know her better. I believe her winning smile has some what played a role in her success.
Her model height and curvaceous body makes her perfect for editorial shoots for magazines! She has been featured in Complete Fashion Magazine, African Vibes Magazine and Exquisite Magazine, among several others. Dresses and especially gowns have a heavenly fit on her! Do you see this gown she’s in (photographed above)? But I digress…
Her oval face shape can carry any hairstyle. She can go from the long loose cascading curls to having it packed and pinned to the back or above her shoulders in full tighter curls. It looks great either way. I love that she dresses with every intention of showing off her God-given body and plays up her femininity wherever she goes.
Another great accessory to add on with an equally great outfit is a well dressed man to have on your arm. Who said ladies can’t have a little arm candy? Him being her husband makes it ten times better! You can see how they compliment each other’s style in each photo making such a handsome couple! I’m in love with the sleeve and shoulder detail in both her dresses. Never be afraid to wear a dress that has a little quirky detail on it. Risks can be fun, I promise!
Gorgeous, talented and the oh so stylish Stephanie! Cheers to a successful marriage, career and life filled with all the fabulous things the world has to offer!
Till next time…
