Bishop David Oyedepo To Launch New Airline

Nigeria’s richest pastor  bishop, David Oyedepo, has made a glistening addition to his business empire by floating an airline called Dominion Air.

Oyedepo, who a few years ago ignited debate on flamboyant Christianity by acquiring his fourth private jet, is the owner of Dominion Publishing House, Covenant University and an elite secondary school called Faith Academy.

Listed by Forbes as Nigeria’s wealthiest pastor with a net worth of $150 million, David Oyedepo is a preacher and founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, more popularly known as Winners’ Chapel. Besides his four private jets, Forbes also mentioned the preacher’s luxury homes in London and the United States.

Sources within the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), the agency charged with business registration in Nigeria, confirmed the registration of Dominion Air with David Oyedepo as its chairman. Another source within a Lagos-based insurance firm known to handle most of Oyedepo’s businesses said the airline project had been in the works for six years and was only made a reality this year.

  1. I can see why people are beginning to question him, Being flamboyant and a man of God have never been the most convincing traits as one contradicts the other. But I shan’t judge a man for his entrepreneur skills, if done legittly. Besides, I don’t have sufficient evidence as to were he obtains all this. It goes both ways really; man of God in which God has richly blessed in finances or a sham. Only God knows.

The bible says, touch not my annoited and do my prophets no harm. And also says, for many are called, but few are chosen.

    It is well.

Personally, pastor or not, I do believe that amount of private jets is more than a bit ostentatious and ridiculous; considering the amount of money/resources that needs to be put into good use in helping the less privilege, building & encouraging the community, doing ministry work and spreading the gospel etc etc (he is a pastor after all, his life should be dedicated to such causes).

    It is well.

  2. There is nothing wrong in a man of God having possessions .from Day one this man has preached prosperity making others rich He has been a blessing to a Lot of people all over the world so if someone calls God does not mean He should not have possessions provided the possessions does not have Him. .Remember Job ,David, solomon lots of people .I know this man always helps the less privilege Believe it or not Oyedepo is fulfilling scriptures supernatural wealth .rem Job 22:21-30 about gold of ophir go on Bishop am coming too.
