    I think Nigeria spoke it's best English in these first few years after it's Independence. Since then, everything seems to have gone downhill. The English spoken by the politicians here is Queen worthy.

    These days I weep for our vocabulary. And I don’t refer to pidgin English (that is almost a different language in it’s own right), I’m talking about the sorry excuse for English that, from my own conclusion, has been birthed from the different languages in the country forcing the English language on their tongues. It’s really sad I must say.
