New Music: Cynthia Morgan – Right Move


It’s a minute since we heard from Reggae act, Cynthia Morgan. Glad to know she’s still going at it. Right Move is her latest effort, and I realize why I missed her music. This is one to get a lot of play in the clubs. Imagine this when you don dey small… The Party has started be dat.

For those that are not too familiar with Cynthia Morgan for any reason, here is as short bio of this Reggae princess:

Cynthia Morgan aka Marshal Morgan, she is Pop Dance hall,HipHop,Rap Artiste, Born September 23 1991 in Benin South-South Nigeria, she did her primary and secondary education in Benin. Cynthia Morgan’s passion and love for music started since childhood. She started recording professionally at the age of sixteen, she grew around musician from church choir to a backup singer for her mum’s musical band since age 3, she also lead her school choir in secondary school, as she grew older, her love and passion for music and stardom grew immensely.

She plays a musical instrument THE TALKING DRUM; Cynthia Morgan is a song writer, composer. She started composing at age seven. She recorded her debut singles at age sixteen, started getting air play and interviews on local radio stations in Benin. She moved to Lagos, Nigeria in 2008 to further her career. She is very determined and zealous and she has proven herself beyond reasonable doubt. She is the most sorted for female reggae artist in Nigeria, she as featured General Pype, Trey Pounds on her Singles. Still working on her debut album and she is also featuring some international act as well.

She as performed along side with Sound Sultan, General Pype, Ajuju, R2bees, Nyore, Mo’ Cheddah, Nikky Laoye, BB, Ahionye,Goldie,Lami and so many Top Nigerian Artiste. She gets her inspirations from reading good books watching movies and music. Her role models are Bob Marley, Sean Paul, Cardinal official, Sizzla Kalonji, Beenieman, Elephant man, Lil Kim, Lady Saw, Mavado, 2face.
