On behalf of the MIT Sloan Africa Business Club and Jaguda.om we would like to invite you the inaugural MIT Sloan Africa Business Conference. The conference will be a one-day event, themed “Africa 2.0: Achieving Growth through Innovation”, to be held at the MIT Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, Massachusetts on Friday, April 1st 2011.

This year, over fifteen countries in Africa celebrate 50 years of nationhood, at the same time MIT is celebrating 150 years of its existence. The confluence of these events provides us a great backdrop to launch a conference focused on Africa at the MIT Sloan School of Management where we spotlight ideas at work in shaping the future of the continent. The conference will bring together a mix of speakers and panel sessions covering areas of innovation in Africa including Technology,  Entrepreneurship, Finance, Energy and Media & Entertainment. The unifying theme will present perspectives on how today’s students and tomorrow’s leaders can impact the continent by putting ideas to work.  Additional information is available on the conference website; http://www.mitafrica.com

Jaguda.com is a media sponsor for this event so we look forward to seeing you at this first class event.
