Afternoon you all! I hope your week has been a fruitful one and if not, I hope your weekend is twice as fruitful! Now, if you are a follower of all things fashion related then I suggest you listen up and take notice of FASHION’S NIGHT OUT! Even if you do not care for fashion go to fashionsnightout.com to find out more about this now global event while I give you my own synopsis of it.
Now as some of you may know Fashion Week will be going on internationally for the next couple of weeks and New York Fashion Week is already underway. Fashion’s Night Out is sort of a runner up celebration to bring in Fashion Week and tonight is that night! Wherever you are in the U.S of A you can get down with this movement. Tonight is a night of shopping, mingling, partying and fashion! In select cities all over the country (and world) designers and department stores will be opening up their doors later this evening for you to either shop, party and mingle. You do not have to buy anything but with the complimentary discounts they’ll be offering, I’m not sure you’ll be able to resist.
As for me I will be in the NYC area making my first stop at the Tracy Reese Boutique at 641 Hudson Street. They will be hosting a dance-a-thon featuring a DJ and a panel of judges that will chose the best dancer and award them with a grand prize courtesy of Tracy Reese. Plus a complimentary manicure will be given to guests all provided by Sally Hansen.
For the NYC dwellers, please do look up a host of events at fashionsnightout.com/night-out. There will be performances, celebrity appearances, sales, parties and free giveaways at different locations. As for all other states go to fashionsnightout.com/fno-elsewhere to get the line up of stores that will be taking part as well in your area. I suggest you gather a bunch of your most fashionable friends and ‘shop till you drop’ (or at least until you drop the cash, credit or debit card).
