It’s no secret anymore. Michael Jackson, the show-stopping singer whose best-selling albums — including “Off the Wall,” “Thriller” and “Bad” — and electrifying stage presence made him one of the most popular artists of all time, died Thursday, June 25th, 2009 at the age of 50.
He collapsed at his residence in the Holmby Hills section of Los Angeles, California, about noon Pacific time, suffering cardiac arrest, according to brother Randy Jackson. He died at UCLA Medical Center. Lt. Fred Corral of the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office said an autopsy would probably be done on the singer Friday, with results expected that afternoon.
I don’t think there is anyone that listened to his music that wasn’t automatically a fan or affected by it in some way. I remember “We are the world” was such a popular song growing up, “Thriller” had such a huge impact on music videos, and who can forget the “Moon Walk” that had all of us looking for slippery shoes, and claiming MJ put okro under his shoes to slide that well…lol. . Michael will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
Sadly NTA is reporting that a fan jumped off mainland bridge cause he could not take it. Just shows how Michael Jackson transformed across various culture. Today is a very sad and it reminds us that tomorrow is not guarantee.
We wont stay hear and mourn his death, but we’ll instead celebrate his life, and all the memories he created for us growing up. With that being said what is your favorite Michael Jackson memory or song? Check out his video for Beat it… One of the classic
